You can put this solution on YOUR website! You can use integers in these (and many more) ways:
* Balancing your checkbook (negative integers if overdrawn; positive if a balance)
* Eating and exercise - Counting calories to make sure you've eaten enough to compensate for your exercise. How many calories burned on your run (subtract)? How many in that nice, delicious, juicy steak? (add)
* Stock Market - Is the Dow Jones climbing or falling? What happened to Hobby Lobby's stock after the recent Supreme Court decision in their favor? If you check a stock site, usually stocks that are rising in price will be in green, and those that are falling will be in red.
* Weather. What's the weather like outside? Is it hot (90F) or cold (-3F)?
* Elevation. Is a location above or below sea level? How far above or below?
* Speed Limit. Are you going over (positive) or under (negative) the posted speed limit?
* Do you like to play golf? Over par (positive) is actually a poor score; under par (negative) is what you're after.
* History timeline - Did an event happen AD (Anno Domini) or BC (before Christ)?
