Question 884835: hi, i was ask to factor this equation and i am really not sure how to do it, any help will be greatly appreciated 8^2(x^2+2)^2-2x(4x^3+1)(x^2+2). the answer is 2x(x^2+2)(8x-1) Answer by Edwin McCravy(20060) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! You must have mistyped something because when you substitute x=1 in
8^2(x^2+2)^2-2x(4x^3+1)(x^2+2)
you get
8^2(1^2+2)^2-2*1(4*1^3+1)(1^2+2) = 546
But when you substitute x=1 in
2x(x^2+2)(8x-1)
you get:
2*1(1^2+2)(8*1-1) = 42
