You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What you expressed is not clear. A guess, %28y%2B2%29%2F%28y-1%29-%284-y%29%2F2=7%2F3.

Multiply both sides by the simplest common denominator, 2%2A3%2A%28y-1%29.
6%28y%2B2%29-%284-y%293%2A%28y-1%29=7%282%29%28y-1%29
6y%2B12-3%284-y%29%28y-1%29=14y-14
12-3%284-y%29%28y-1%29=-14
26%2B3%28y-4%29%28y-1%29=0
26%2B3%28y%5E2-5y%2B4%29=0
3y%5E2-15y%2B12%2B26=0
highlight_green%283y%5E2-15y%2B38=0%29
You can finish the rest from here. General solution for quadratic formula would be the way to do. (Maybe check for factorability.)

If %28y+%2B+2%29%2F%28y+-+1%29+-+%284+-+y%29%2F2y+=+7%2F3, then equation to solve is: 5y%5E2+-+11y+-+12+=+0, and highlight_green%28highlight_green%28y+=+-+%284%2F5%29_or_y+=+3%29%29
You can do the check!!
