You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The standard formula for a line is y = mx +b where m is slope and b is y intercept, therefore we solve the given equation for y
2x +3y = -12
subtract 2x from both sides of =
3y = -2x -12
divide both sides of = by 3
y = -2x/3 -4
1) given x = 0, then y = -4, (0, -4)
2) given y = 0,
0 = -2x/3 -4
0 = -2x -12
x = -6, then (-6, 0)
3) given x = -3, then y = -2, (-3, -2)
4) given y=4,
4 = -2x/3 -4
12 = -2x -12
-2x = 24
x = -12, then (-12, 4)
the ordered pairs are
(0, -4) (-6, 0) (-3, -2) (-12, 4)
