You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There are several ways to do this. Since it's a small number, estimation is the easiest for me.
Let's estimate 10 (because I'm all for EASY)
$2.50 + 1.00 + .50 = 4.00
We're close! Only .40 away. What total is a nickel, dime, and quarter? .40
Therefore the answer is 11
11 quarters = $2.75
11 dimes = $1.10
11 nickels = .55
2.75 + 1.10 + .55 = $4.40
