Question 88139: Please solve, show work and simplify
1. f(x)=3x-2
g(x)=x2-3x
Find: (fog)(x) - is it a function or not
2. f(x)=3x-2
g(x)=x2-3x
Find: (gof)(x)

3. t(x)=3x-(x2-1)
g(x)=2x+3
Find: (got)(x)
I am soooooo confused and have not idea how to do this - HELP!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1. f%28x%29=3x-2 ; g%28x%29=x%5E2-3x
Find: (fog)(x)
-------Basically what this is saying is f(g(x)).
In other words, for f%28x%29=3x-2 , you replace "x" with g(x) which is x%5E2-3x+
So (fog)(x) = f%28g%28x%29%29+=+3%28x%5E2-3x%29+-+2
becomes 3x%5E2-9x+-+2
----------------------------------------------------
2. Find: (gof)(x)
Means for g(x) replace "x" with f(x)
3. Find: (got)(x)
Means for g(x) replace "x" with t(x)
