You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The height is the opposite side, the length is the adjacent side.
So then,
tan%2833.5%29=OPP%2FADJ
tan%2833.5%29=26%2FL%29
L=26%2Ftan%2833.5%29
L=39.2ft

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A right triangle is formed with the slide being the hypotenuse.
The height of the slide is opposite the 33.5° angle.

To find the length of the slide:

Sin 33.5° = 26/x {sin of 33.5 equals opposite over hypotenuse}
0.5519 ≈ 26/x {evaluated sin of 33.5}
0.5519x ≈ 26 {multiplied each side by x}
x ≈ 47.1 {divided each side by 0.5519}

The slide is approximately 47.1 ft. long.
