You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First attempt to understand your equation is that the base is 3. If this is the case, then log%283%2C%28x%2B6%29%28x-6%29%2Fx%29=2.
log%283%2C%28x%5E2-36%29%2Fx%29=2
3%5E2=%28x%5E2-36%29%2Fx
9x=x%5E2-36
x%5E2-9x-36=0
x=%289%2B-+sqrt%2881%2B4%2A36%29%29%2F2
x=%289%2B-+sqrt%28225%29%29%2F2
x=%289%2B-+sqrt%289%2A25%29%29%2F2
x=%289%2B-+15%29%2F2

highlight%28x=-3%29 or highlight%28x=12%29.

Please help me solve this equation: log 3(x+6)+log 3(x-6)-log 3(x)=2

x = - 3 or 12, but x = - 3 is EXTRANEOUS, so highlight_green%28highlight_green%28x+=+12%29%29
You can do the check!!
