Since 60 students are taking Psychology, and 10 are taking both Stat and Psychology, there must be 50 who are ONLY taking Psychology. Using similar logic, 40 are ONLY taking Statistics. Therefore 40 plus 50 plus 10 = 100 are taking one or the other (or both), hence a random selection of the 200 has a 50% chance of being one of those taking Stat or Psych
