You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x = the complement
3/4 x = the angle

The sum of the angles equals 90 degrees.
x + 3/4 x = 90
4/4x + 3/4 x = 90
7/4 x = 90

To "undo" multiplication by 7/4, multiply both sides by the reciprocal of 7/4, which is 4/7.

%287%2F4%29%2Ax+=+90
%284%2F7%29%2A%287%2F4%29%2Ax=+%284%2F7%29%2A90+
x=+360%2F7+ degrees = the complement of the angle. This just got UGLY!
%283%2F4%29x=+%283%2F4%29%2A%28360%2F7%29=+270%2F7 = the angle. This is REALLY ugly!!

Does it check??? Add the angles together 360%2F7%2B270%2F7=+630%2F7=90 degrees!
It checks!!
