Look at the numbers that are multiples of 4 (4,8,12,16,...).There are 25 of them. There are 100 numbers from 1 to 100. So the probability of it being a multiple of 4 is,
P=25%2F100=1%2F4
so the probability of not being a multiple of 4 is,
P=1-1%2F4=3%2F4
