there are many ways to find the slope and several ways to find the y intercept.
What is the y intercept?
The y intercept is the value of y when x=0
if x=0 then y=2
What is the slope?
It is the change in y over the change in x
We have one point (0,2)
when y=0 x=5 (5,0)
now we have two points
5,0 and 0,2
0-2=-2
5-0=5
-2/5 is the slope
y=-2x/5+2
that should be equal to 2x+5y=10
lets convert y=-2x/5+2
y = 2-2x/5
multiply by 5
5y=10-2x
add 2x
2x+5y=10
