Final is worth 15%
Rest of classwork is worth 85% (since 100 - 15 = 85)


Let x = grade on final


0.87*0.85 + x*0.15 = 0.85


0.7395 + 0.15x = 0.85


0.15x = 0.85 - 0.7395


0.15x = 0.1105


x = 0.1105/0.15


x = 0.73666666666667


So you need to get at least 73.666666666667% on the final to get an 85% or better as an overall grade.
