You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You have a description for speeds but no sense of direction.

r%2A3%2B%28r%2B5%29%2A3=393
3r%2B3r%2B5=393
6r=393-5
6r=388
r=64%262%2F3 mph, the slower car.

%28r%2B5%29%2A3-r%2A3=393
3r%2B15-3r=393
15=393, nonsense.

The cars could be going in opposite directions.

If this is all to the problem, then going in opposite directions, slower car's speed would be highlight_green%2863%29 mph
You should be able to find the faster car's speed.
You can do the check!!
