u - 9 = 2(s-9)  0r  u = 2s - 9

 s + 12 = (32/43)(2s-9 + 12)

 s + 12 = (32/43)(2s + 3)

 43s + 12•43 = 64s +96

          420 = 21s

            20 = s, Sally's age
