We can use ratio and proportion here
Let the cost of 63 inches of ribbon be x cents
x%2F63+=+12%2F36 because one yard = 36 inches
Now cross multiply
36x = 12 x 63
36x = 756
Now divide both sides by 36
x = 21 cents
x = $ 0.21
Answer is B
