9r%2A12=3, and 12r%2At=6; which is really two equations and two unknowns; but you only need to solve for t.
Second equation gives t=6%2F%2812r%29=1%2F%282r%29.
First equation gives r=3%2F9=1%2F3.
Substitution: t=1%2F%282%281%2F3%29%29
