Let "x" be his sales.
Then his salary will be 12,500+0.04(x-1,000,000)
You want to know when that salary will be 25000
Equation:
12,500+.04(x-1,000,000)= 25000
.04(...........)= 12500
(...........)= 312500
x = $1,312,500
