You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the passing grade?
How was that 66 calculated?

If the passing grade is 60, you can get a 0 in a final worth 5% of the grade, and you would pass anyway.

If the passing grade is more than 60, we have to consider how your current grade has been calculated.
If your current grade means you have a 66% for all the tests and assignments except the final test, and that accounts for 95% of your total grade,
the grade you have earned so far is 66% of 95% of the total grade for the course, or 66%2A95%2F100=62.7 .
A 0 in the final test would leave your average as 62.7 which would round to 63:
%285%2A0%2B95%2A66%29%2F100=%280%2B6270%29%2F100=6270%2F100=62.7 .
A 100 in the final test would take your average to
%285%2A100%2B95%2A66%29%2F100=%28500%2B6270%29%2F100=6770%2F100=67.7 .

If your current grade means you have earned 66 points out of 95 possible points for all the grades to date, 5% of whatever grade you earn in the final will be added to get your final grade.

EXAMPLE:
I recently took a course where questions answered through the computer during the lectures accounted for 10% of the grade. After getting 86, 100, 100, and 100 during the first 4 lectures, I had a 96 average. However, I wa far from sure to pass the course. There were 31 more lectures to go, 10 homework assignments whose average was 15% of the grade, 3 tests whose average was worth 45% of the grade, and a final worth 30% of the grade.
Just before the final, having skipped some classes and one homework, I had earned averages of 60 for the lectures, 79 for the homework, and 95 for the 3 tests. With 10%+15%+15%=70% of the grades in, I had attempted only 70% of the work.

For that portion of the course my average was
%2810%2A60%2B15%2A79%2B45%2A95%29%2F70=%28600%2B1185%2B4275%29%2F70=6060%2F70=86.57
I had only earned 60.6 points out of the 70, but most teachers would have told me that my grade so far was 87, because I had earned 86.6% of the points attempted so far.
A 0 in the final would have left my grade as 60.57, which would be rounded to 61.
A 100 in the final would have calculated to
30%2A100%2B70%2A86.57%29%2F100=%283000%2B6060%29%2F100=9060%2F100=90.6 , which would have been rounded to 91.
