You can put this solution on YOUR website! x+y=3 x-y=1
 Add the two equations to elimlnate y, you will get.
 2x = 4
 Divide both the sides by 2
 x = 2
 Now, put the value of x in any of the given equations:
 2 + y = 3
 Subtract 2 from both the sides, we will get
 y = 3-2 = 1
 Answer: x =2 & y = 1
