6x-1 over 5 minus 2x over 3 = 3 6x-1/5 - 2x/3 = 3
Sorry I am not sure how to do the fractions I will try and type it below

I have come up with 1.5, 2.1, & 6 I am thinking 6 may be close but I can not get any numbers so far to come out properly when I check.

15%28%28%286x-1%29%2F5%29-2x%2F3%29+=+15%2A%283%29 Simplify.
3%286x-1%29-5%282x%29+=+45
18x-3-10x+=+45Combine like-terms.
8x-3+=+45 Add 3 to both sides.
8x+=+48 Divide both sides by 8.
x+=+6
Check: Substitute x = 6

First find the LCD, which is 15. Multiply both sides of the equation by the LCD of 15.

Divide out the denominators of 5 and 3 respectively, and it should look like this:

18x-3+-10x+=+45+
8x+-3=45
8x+=+48
x=+6

Check by substitution:
