Question 8753: How do I graph this problem?
x + y < 1
Answer by FSAN85(6) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! x + y < 1
okay first put in y-intercept form which is y = m x + b M is slope and b is the y-intercept
so subtract the x and bring it to the other side with the 1, then ur gona have:
y < -x + 1 so u will have a slope of -1 and a yint of 1. Now just use this potins to plot ur graph, use a dotted line because its not the greter than or equal to sign, and shade BELOW because the equation is less than.
