You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A private airplane leaves an airport
and flies due south at 192 mph.
let t be the time when it is caught up by the jet
distance = speed * t
=192t
Two hours later, a jet
for the same distance the jet takes (t-2) hours
leaves the same airport and flies due south at 960 mph.
d= 960(t-2)
960(t-2)=192t
960t-1920=192t
960t-192t=1920
768t=1920
t= 2.5 hours
When will the jet overtake the plane?
