2x+7 Blue   a = 2

2x-3 Green  (Green and Blue //)

-.5x + 7    b = -1/2 (Perpendicular to the Above)

2x-3 = -.5x + 7,   x = 4  and y = 5,  (4,5) & (0,7) points of intersection

(0,7)

(4,5) sqrt(16 +4) = sqrt(20), perpendicular distance between the pair of parallel lines.
