You can put this solution on YOUR website! Three integers have a sum of 50. the second integer is four times as large as the first integer and the third integer is 4 less than the second integer. what are the three integers.
Answer
as per given conditions let integers are a ,b c
a+b+c =50 (1)
b=4a
c= b-4 therefore
c =4a-4
by putting the value of a , b , c in equation (1)
a+b+c =50
a+4a+4a-4=50
9a =54
a =54/9
a=6
b=4a =24
c= 4a-4 =24-4 =20
Answe
first inter is 6
second integer is 24
third integer is 20
