Question 872576: Two classes took a statistics test. Both classes had a mean score of 73. The scores of class A had a standard deviation of 5 and those of class B had a standard deviation of 10. Discuss the difference between the two classes performance on the test.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Both classes have the same center in terms of the distribution since they both have the same mean; however, class B has scores more spread out from the center since it has a larger standard deviation.
This means the scores in class B vary more and they are further away from the mean.
Class A has scores that are more closer to the mean (and more clustered around it) in relation to class B since it has a smaller standard deviation.
