You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x= number of adults
y= number of children

1.00 x + 1.00 y = 70.00 .............1
Total value
6.50 x + 5.00 y = 380.00 .............2
Eliminate y
multiply (1)by -5.00
Multiply (2) by 1.00
-5.00 x -5.00 y = -350.00
6.50 x + 5.00 y = 380.00
Add the two equations
1.50 x = 30.00
/ 1.50
x = 20.00
plug value of x in (1)
1.00 x + 1.00 y = 70.00
20.00 + y = 70.00
y = 70.00 -20
y = 50.00
y = 50.00
x= 20.00 number of adults

y= 50.00 number of children
