Question 871356: can you please help me figure out this problem?
suppose the circumference of a circle is 2 pi. What is the area? Answer by rothauserc(4718) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! circumference of a circle is pi times the diameter
area of a circle is pi times the radius squared
in your example the circumference is 2 times pi so the diameter is 2 and the radius is 1, therefore
area of circle is pi times 1^2 = pi
