If you are referring to the fact that the sides are in the ratio 1:sqrt(3):2, you cannot really prove that using just Pythagorean thm (you can show that the sides form a right triangle, but nothing else). To show that a triangle with sides 1:sqrt(3):2 is a 30-60-90, you should use law of sines.
