You can put this solution on YOUR website! We need to know how long in minutes does it take the helicopter and naval vessel to cover the 45 km. We use rate times time equals distance. Therefore,
120t + 30t = 45
150t = 45
t = 45/150 = 3/10
now we want 3/10 of 60 minutes = 18 minutes
It will take 18 minutes for the helicopter to reach the naval vessel
