You can put this solution on YOUR website!
81/100, 62/100, 63/100, x
81%, 62%, 63%, x
(81% + 62% + 63% + x) / 4 >= 70%
(0.81 + 0.62 + 0.63 + x) / 4 >= 0.7
0.81 + 0.62 + 0.63 + x >= 2.8
x >= 0.74
x >= 74%
74% of 200 = 148
x >= 148 points

The total of three tests equals 300 points and the total for the final is 200. Seventy percent of both is the minimum score you can have and pass.
Seventy percent of 300 is .7*300=210 and seventy percent of 200 is 200*.7=140 The minimum score on the three tests and the final is equal to 140+210=350
This students scores on the three tests added up equal to 206.
Then i represent the final score as x so i can find out what is the minimum score the student can get on his final and still receive a passing score.
The equation is x+206=350 Then i subtract 206 on both sides of the equal sign to get the minimum score he can get on his final and receive a 70 percent of the total points possible.

The student needs 144 out of 200 points on the final exam, or a minimum score of highlight_green%28highlight_green%2872%29%29% to pass with a 70% average.
