You can put this solution on YOUR website! If you have five containers of ice cream. Each container is in the form of a rectangular prism with dimensions 25cm by 16cm by 19cm. you want to fill ice cream cones with radius 7cm and height 12cn with ice cream. The ice cream is melting, so it cannot exceed the height of the cone. How many cones can be filled?
-------
Vol or rectangular prism = 25*16*19
Vol of 5 of these = 5*25*16*19 cm^3
-----
Vol of one ice-cream cone = (1/3)(pi)*7^2*12 = 49*4pi cm^3
------
Ans: # of cones you can fill = (5*25*16*19)/(49*4pi) = 246.85
