You can put this solution on YOUR website! the difference between an equation and an Identity. What is the difference?
:
An identity is an equation that is true for every possible value of the unknowns;
for example: 4x = 2x + 2x
:
This is not true for an equation:
for example 2x + 3 = 15; a unique value is required to make it an equation
