You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You cannot have a negative in the square root. So the radicands must be 0 or positive.

That means,

x-1%3E=0

x-1%2B1%3E=0%2B1

x%3E=1

AND it also means

6-x%3E=0

6-x%2Bx%3E=0%2Bx

6%3E=x

x%3C=6

We found that x%3E=1 AND x%3C=6

So put together, the restrictions on x are 1%3C=x%3C=6 (basically, x is between 1 and 6 including both endpoints)

The domain is the set of x values such that 1%3C=x%3C=6

In interval notation, the domain is [1,6]
