0+=+%283x%2B2%29%2F%282x%2B4%29 Replace f(x) with 0 (since f%28x%29+=+0)


0%282x%2B4%29+=+3x%2B2 Multiply both sides by 2x+4.


0+=+3x%2B2 Multiply


3x%2B2+=+0 Flip the equation


3x+=+0-2 Subtract 2 from both sides.


3x+=+-2 Subtract
