For example: The big rectangle has 6cm as the height and 9cm as the base with a small rectangle cut out of the middle of the big rectangle.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! They are two separate perimeters. Each has its own value, or each is a separate number. The use of one of them or both of them depends on the application; otherwise, they are two separate numbers.
