Question 866757: Using an analytical method (compound angle formula) solve the following trigonometric equation for angles in the range: 0 to 2Pi rad.
Sin θ =3sin (θ - Pi/6)
Substitute your answers into the original expression to check that they are valid.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Ryan.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve the following trigonometric equation for angles in the range: 0 to 2Pi rad.
Sin θ =3sin (θ - Pi/6)
-------
I graphed the left side and the right side and
found intersections at t = 0.7537516.. and t = 3.895344..
