Question 865725: A rectangle has a length of x and a width of 2x+3. It has an area of 200 cm^2.
a) Writ ean equation using the dimensions and the area
b) Graph the related funtion using a graphing calculator
c) find the demensions of the rectangle
Ok, so I know how to Graph it and find the dementions.... When I have an equation. We've been using ax^2*bx+c and I honestly could not figure out how to turn it into a enterable equation. Help with finding the answer to "a" please?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area = L*W
200 = x*(2x+3)
2x^2 + 3x - 200 = 0
