You can put this solution on YOUR website!
slope intercept form of equation

x%2Fa+%2B+y%2Fb+=+1
x%2F3+%2B+y%2F6+=+1
6x+3y=12
slope = -a/b
= -6/3
y= -2x+2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x intercept means y=0
(3,0)
0=3m+b
y intercept means x=0
(0,6)
y=mx+b
6=b
0=3m+b
0=3m+6
-6=3m
-6/3=m
-2=m slope
why would I find the y intercept if the y intercept is given?
y-intercept = 6
find the slope and the y-intercept.
