y=34-x substituted into simplified area equation gives:
x%2A%2834-x%29=24
34x-x%5E2-24=0
x%5E2-34x%2B24=0

x=%2834%2B2%2Asqrt%285%2A53%29%29%2F2=17%2Bsqrt%28265%29
highlight%28x=17%2Bsqrt%28265%29%29
