Question 863308: Hello i was asked to graph f(x) = log base 2(x+1)-2 now i think i graphed it correctly but i was also asked to find the domain, any asymptotes and all intercepts of f(x) and i'm not quite sure how to go about doing all that so any help is appreciate! thank you for your help

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If assumed you can make a graph of y=log%282%2Cx%29, it appears like:
graph%28300%2C300%2C-15%2C15%2C-15%2C15%2Clog%282%2Cx%29%29

f%28x%29=log%282%2Cx%2B1%29-2 is 1 unit shifted to the left and 2 units shifted downward.

Just a bit more help.
Before the shift, vertical asymptote x=0. After the shift, it is at x=-1.
Can you figure the axis intercepts? For y-intercept, x=0. Set the equation that way and solve for y.
