You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=2x+1
3x-y=4
First, you can substitute 2x+1 for y in the second equation because y and 2x+1 are the same.
3x-%282x%2B1%29=4
Distribute -1
3x-2x-1=4
Combine Like Terms
x-1=4
Add one to both sides
x=5
Substitute 5 into y=2x+1
y=2%285%29%2B1
y=10%2B1
y=11

X=5 and Y=11
