You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I am so lost doing inequalities. Could someone explain how you would write this?
You have at least $30 in change in your drawer, consisting of dimes and quarters. Write an inequality that shows the different number of coins in your drawer.
LET NUMBER OF DIMES BE = D..........ITS VALUE =10D CENTS
LET NUMBER OF QUARTERS = Q............ITS VALUE =25D CENTS
TOTAL VALUE =10D+25Q CENTS
THIS IS AT LEAST 30$=3000 CENTS
10D+25Q>=3000
2D+5Q>=600

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let D = the number of dimes ($0.10) and Q = the number of quarters ($).25).
The sum of these is at least (> or =) $30.00, so you can write:
0.10D+%2B+0.25Q+%3E=+30
