You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph each sinusoidal function over two cycles
a) y = 3 cos ( x - π/6)
Sketch a cosine curve
amplitude = 3
phase shift = pi/6 to the right
graph%28400%2C400%2C-6.5%2C6.5%2C-4%2C4%2C3cos%28x-%28pi%2F6%29%29%29
-------------------------------------------
b) y = 2 cos ( x - 5π/3)
Sketch a cosine curve.
Amp = 2
phase shift if (5/3)pi to the right
graph%28400%2C400%2C-6.5%2C6.5%2C-2.5%2C2.5%2C2cos%28x-%285%2F3%29pi%29%29
-----------------------------------------------------------
c) y = 5 cos ( x + 7π/6)
phase shift to the left
