Question 86005: Okay, I was supposed to divide x^2+2x-15/4x^2 divided by x^2-25/2x-10. My answer is x+3/2x^2 Did I solve this correctly? Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Almost!
Divide: Invert the 2nd fraction and multiply. Factor the numerators and denominators where possible. Cancel the like-factors as indicated leaving you with: Cancel 2's
Notice that in your answer, the numerator has the opposite sign but was otherwise correct!
