[cos^2(t) - sin^2(t)]/[(1-tan(t)] = cos^(t)
Cross-multiply to get::
[cos^2(t)-sin^2(t)] = cos(t) - sin^(t)

Divide both sides by cos(t)-sin(t) to get:
cos(t)+sin(t) = 0
cos(t) = -sin(t)
cos(t) = -cos(pi/2 -t)
t = pi/2 -t
2t = pi/2
t = pi/4
