Question 857816: High tide is at 6:00 AM. The water level at the pier at that time is 12 feet. At low tide, which occurs at 1:00 PM, the water level at the pier is at 4 feet.
1. What is the amplitude of the function? (I got 4)
2. What is the period? (I got pi/3)
3. At what time is the next high tide? (I got 11:00 AM)
4. At what time was the previous low tide?
This isn't a homework question, but it's a classwork assignment that we never finished in class. I figured I could get some extra practice (Because I need it!). Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There are two high tides every day about 12.42 hours apart
The same with low tides.
3) the next high tide would be about 6:20 pm
4) the previous low tide was about 12:30 am
