I understand that the problem you meant is

which should be typed as (x+2)/(x+7) + (4x-3)/(x^2+4x-21) + (x-1)/(x-3),
with all those brackets, because otherwise you have
x+2/x+7 + 4x-3/x^2-4x-21 + x-1/x-3=x%2B2%2Fx%2B7+%2B+4x-3%2Fx%5E2-4x-21+%2B+x-1%2Fx-3

There may be a typo or two.
(I could also be making some mistake).
Was is x%5E2-4x-21 or x%5E2%2B4x-21 ?

x%5E2%2B4x-21=%28x-3%29%28x%2B7%29
and would make a good common denominator for %28x%2B7%29 and %28x-3%29.

At that point, I would expect to be able to factor 2x%5E2%2B9x-16
and see that has some factor in common with %28x-3%29%28x%2B7%29 ,
but that does not work.
So the problem would end with
%282x%5E2%2B9x-16%29%2F%28%28x-3%29%28x%2B7%29%29+ or %282x%5E2%2B9x-16%29%2F%28x%5E2%2B4x-21%29+ ,
