x+2/x+7 + 4x-3/x^2-4x-21 + x-1/x-3
When I factored out x^2+4x-21 I got (x-3)(x+7) as the LCD. Then I multiplied (x-3) with x+2/x+7 and (x+7) with x-1/x-3 = x^2-3x+2x-6+4x-3+x^2+7x-x-7 ALL OVER (x-3)(x+7)= x^4+10x-16.

I understand that the problem you meant is

which should be typed as (x+2)/(x+7) + (4x-3)/(x^2+4x-21) + (x-1)/(x-3),
with all those brackets, because otherwise you have
x+2/x+7 + 4x-3/x^2-4x-21 + x-1/x-3=
