Question 856568: A company discovers that to produce 960 (x value) new electronic parts, it will cost $83620 (y value). To produce 640 new electronic parts, it will cost $57380.
Compute the slope of the costs to help you choose the correct statement below...
I just want to know how to set up the equation.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use:
slope = ( change in y ) / ( change in x )
slope = ( 83620 - 57380 ) / ( 960 - 640 )
Note the slope is positive because as number of
parts increases, cost to make them increases
