Question: A company that has 200 employees chooses a committee of 15 to represent employee retirement issues. When the committee was formed, none of the 56 minority employees were selected.
1. Find the number of ways 15 employees can be chosen from 200.
2. Find the number of ways 15 employees can be chosen from 144 non-minorities.
3. If the committee was chosen randomly (without bias), what is the probability that it contained no minorities?
4. Does your answer to question 3 indicate that the committee selection process is biased?
I'm lost. I used the nCr function to solve question 1 & 2 but not sure if correct.
